To retrieve it you must log in to your Warsaw Marathon account and find it under “Your Runs” (“Twoje Biegi”). The signed card along with a copy of your ID (with photo) should be shown at the pick-up of your race-kit if you are not showing in person.

Charity runners! When you visit the Expo, be sure to visit the booth of the organization for which you are running as part of the #RunningGood campaign. Representatives of all organizations will be waiting for you throughout the operation of the Race Office.

Before the race please remember to read the most important information!

Survey for marathon participants

Dear runners!

We are happy to confirm that we will be able to see all of you on September 26th during the 43rd Warsaw Marathon. But before that happens we need your help.

Due to the current restrictions, for us to proceed with the registration and planning the details of the event we need to ask you about your vaccination status.

At this point in time, all races have to be divided into groups of 250 participants (that limit does not cover vaccinated people) that can start the race every 30 minutes. The information about your vaccination status will help us to decide on the number of groups and let new participants register.

In the registration panel, you will find a questionnaire. Please fill in the questionnaire before June 21st, or even better – now!  Answering the questions will take less than a minute.

No matter if you have or have not been vaccinated all of the submitted answers will help us to determine the final date of the event, plan the details and let new runners take place in the race.

Next, everyone with their number assigned will be able to choose in which group they want to start.  All of the vaccinated participants will be able to take part in the traditional mass start.

For many months we have been working on preparing an event that is safe and as big as possible. We kindly ask you to answer the questionnaire truthfully, so on September 26th we can all take part in a beautiful race and follow the health restrictions.

Registration for the 43rd Warsaw Marathon with the traditional path are now open

The second stage for registration is now open! From the 12th of May, at noon all runners will be able to sign up for the 43rd Warsaw Marathon with the traditional path (filling in the form and paying the fee). As of now, there are still 1 643 available spots, with the total limit of participants of 3 000.

This year, for the first time in history the registration  process was divided into 2 stages, with the first one only open with the #BiegamDobrze charity patch. Considering the limited number of participants we wanted to show our appreciation to all of our runners who make the Warsaw Marathon not only a sporting event, but also a great social event where our partner NGOs can expand their possibilities of spreading good and helping the ones that need it the most. The participants who transferred their fee from the 42nd PZU ORLEN Warsaw Marathon in time have their spot guaranteed.

The second stage of registration starts on the 12th of May.

From that point the traditional path of registration will also be available – filling in the form and paying the fee. You still can register with the #BiegamDobrze charity path, but you have to raise the minimum required amount before the limit of 3 000 registered participants is reached.

The #BiegamDobrze fundraisers will remain active

Every charity path participant can still continue to raise more money, but you need to raise the minimum required amount (PLN 450) before the limit of 3 000 participants is reached to be able to take part in the race. If you won’t be able to reach the required minimum your hard work won’t go to waste and all the money you raised will still be donated to the NGO of your choosing.

You can also give up on the charity patch and pay the regular registration fee. In the registration panel now you can find an option to resign from the #BiegamDobrze charity path and change to the regular path. To do that, after logging in on https://rejestracja.maratonwarszawski.com/en/ go to the ”Your events” tab and choose „ Resign from charity” with your 43rd Warsaw Marathon form. You will be able to change the path of your registration as long as the limit of 3 000 participants is not reached. Till that limit is reached you can register with the traditional path and make sure you will be a part of the 43rd Warsaw Marathon. All of the funds raised by the participants who resign from the charity path will be donated to the NGO chosen while registering.

We will run on September 27th

42nd Warsaw Marathon will take place on September 27th 2020, regardless what the time brings us. The event format will be adapted to the current epidemiological conditions and scenarios for different options are being developed.

We are prepared for a situation in which the organisation of events for up to thousand or ten thousand participants is allowed, but also for one with highest restrictions. We are fully aware that many of our runners are waiting for an opportunity to participate in na race, but the truth is that this is an extraordinary situation and we have no control over it. At this moment in time no one knows how will following weeks and moths look like. Regardless – the race will take place as always on the last Sunday of September. The format of the race will be determined during the summer months.

The Warsaw Marathon has been held continuously for 41 years and it has permanently entered the sport calendars of this country and its capital. It wasn’t stopped by martial law, by the lack of interest in running in the 90s or by the sudden surrender of the former organisers of this event. This year’s edition is facing a difficult test which is why we are determined to continue the history of Warsaw Marathon as a symbol of its perseverance.

New York, London … Warsaw. Welcome, New Balance!

“Welcome to Warsaw” – this slogan will inaugurate strategic cooperation with a new technical partner – the American brand New Balance. We have just signed a four-year contract. New Balance is a partner of well-known marathons in the world – in New York, London and Rotterdam. Our agreement includes a series of actions to give a new impulse to promote running and strengthen the position of Warsaw as the running capital of the region.

Together with the new partner, we want our cooperation to contribute to the next step towards the development of running and continuous raising of the level of events organized in the capital.

“I feel that the finalization of several months of talks about cooperation with New Balance brand is the beginning of something new, not only for the Warsaw Marathon but also for running in Warsaw and Poland in general. I am talking about this because it turned out that we share a very similar perception of the needs of the Polish market as well as the challenges facing the suppliers of products and services. We are facing the need to create a second boom for running and both people behind the NB brand and the FMW team really want to bring this new revolution. We have many years of cooperation ahead of us, which will benefit the entire running industry in Poland. And this is probably the best news,” says Marek Tronina, the president of the Warsaw Marathon Foundation.

“We eagerly awaited the start of cooperation with the Warsaw Marathon Foundation, organizer of, among others, a marathon with a 40-year tradition,” said Wojciech Majkut, president of Tarmax – a distributor of the New Balance brand in Poland. “The history and vision of our brands are characterized by incredible synergy and love of running. I hope that together we will bring new energy, creativity, and passion for the events organized by the Warsaw Marathon Foundation, “ Majkut added.

The new sponsor will also take care of providing the necessary sports equipment and the production of official T-shirts of our races.

New Balance as a partner of well-known marathons in the world – in New York, London and Rotterdam – perfectly understands the idea of promoting running. The first event in which our new partner will be involved in is the 14th Warsaw Half Marathon.
