Take part in the Warsaw 10k and become part of a new running history! The 10k race is now held each September as a companion run to the Warsaw Marathon.
The 10 km run is an excellent opportunity to get a feeling of the unique atmosphere of this sporting event and become a part of the Big Race without having to cover 42.195 km. No running enthusiast should miss such a chance!
ATTRACTIVE ROUTE
Warsaw 10k now takes place every year on the last Sunday of September, right after the marathon participants set off. In 2023 the runners set off from Emilii Plater towards the Poniatowski Bridge, to the Praga district and back. The race ended on a long straight stretch of the route leading back across the Vistula, then taking some turns and leading up to the finish line located at the foot of the Palace of Culture.
A low number of turns, lots of long stretches of the route, very few hills, and comfortable, wide arteries make this run the one where runners can strive for their personal best results. At the same time, many historical memorials, but also characteristic landmarks or green areas make it a gem of street racing courses.
